Perhaps you are aware that my Mother-in law and Father in-law moved into the Lodge recently? I wanted you to know how grateful I am personally to you and your staff!
As the needs of our family became apparent Geer was the first thought, largely due to the wonderful experience of my family at Geer over 15 years ago. Very dear friends have a family member at the Lodge right now too. Both families have done their due diligence by consulting and touring several local service providers and facilities. Geer was the obvious choice.
My husband, his brother, have had only compliments for your staff from the first contact, through touring, the evaluation, the move-in and now the settling-in. They felt heard, comfortable, and most importantly reassured and hopeful that the issues their parents were experiencing could be handled. They have remarked that every employee that they have seen smiled, offered assistance, and made them feel that their parents were in excellent hands. Just last evening as the brothers were talking – they described the care givers as “great!”.
We have been married for over 30 years – I know what your staff is seeking to manage – to us, your caring staff are heroes. With such good people helping, the family can be a family rather than crisis managers – it means so much!
